One desk, nine pricing pages, and a rule about dates

What this site is, how the prices on it were read, and why there is no score out of ten anywhere on it.

What this site is

Showingbook is a one-desk publication about CRM software for people who sell, let and manage property. It compares what vendors publish, on the day it was published, and it says plainly when a vendor publishes nothing.

There is no newsletter, no login and no form anywhere on it. Nothing here asks you for an email address, because no email service is wired to this site and a form that quietly goes nowhere would be a worse thing to ship than no form at all.

How the work is done

Each vendor's pricing page is opened in a real browser configured as a US visitor, scrolled to the bottom, and read panel by panel with each billing toggle switched in turn. The figures are then written into one file that every table and every chart on this site draws from, so a chart cannot disagree with the sentence beside it — if the two ever drift apart, the site fails to build.

  • Currency is stated, never converted. All prices here were served in US dollars to a US-configured browser. A figure we did not see in dollars would be labelled as what it was.
  • Every price carries its read date. Prices move; a comparison without a date is a rumour.
  • Nothing is tested here. No brokerage has been run on any of these products by this desk, so there is no score out of ten anywhere on the site. A rating would look like a measurement, and there is no measurement behind it.
  • No statistics we did not source. No conversion rates, no response-time studies, no "agents who use a CRM close more deals". If a number appears here, a vendor published it and we read it.

What we will not do

We will not let a commission decide a recommendation, and the structure of this site makes that checkable rather than a promise. The product we point most solo agents at — HubSpot's free tools — pays this site nothing, and every CRM built specifically for real estate on our comparison pays nothing either.

We also will not publish a discount code or an exclusive offer. Where a vendor advertises its own saving for annual billing, that is quoted as the vendor's published price with the date attached, and never dressed up as something we arranged for you.

Corrections

Prices in this category change without notice and pages get rewritten. If a figure here no longer matches what a vendor publishes, tell us what the page says now and it will be re-read and updated with a new date rather than quietly patched. The contact page has the address.
